WALLA WALLA -- A Walla Walla teenager was injured Tuesday afternoon when the car she was driving rolled over off State Route 125, officials said.
Amy Collins, 18, was transported by ambulance to Providence St. Mary Medical Center after the 1 p.m. wreck.
Collins was heading south on the highway, about a quarter-mile north of Harvey Shaw Road, when she apparently fell asleep and failed to negotiate a curve to the left, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The 1992 Subaru Legacy went off the roadway and rolled twice, landing on its wheels, the State Patrol report says. The vehicle was totaled.
Collins was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
