Emmanuel Lutheran Church to offer Day Camp July 5-8

WALLA WALLA - Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 628 Lincoln St. will hold a Day Camp from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 5-8.

The camp's theme is "Splish Splash," to teach children about the "water of life."

The camp is primarily for children ages 5 to 11, but youths older than 11 may participate as helpers.

Registration forms may be picked up weekdays from the church secretary during the hours of 8:30 a.m.-noon at Emmanuel Lutheran, which is located on the corner of Clinton Street.

Christian Women's Connection plans brunch

STARBUCK - Christian Women's Connection will hold a brunch at 10 a.m. July 13 at Judy Jackson's home - 825 Highway 261

The cost is $9.

The brunch will be catered by Louann Truesdale.

Music will be provided by Debbie Hoilman.

Anna Tracy, a member of Generation X, who migrated from the suburbs of Los Angeles to rural Oregon, will speak.

Betsy Nemitz will share yard art that she has put together.
