Thefts, Burglaries


WW Police

1300 block Milburn Street. Vehicle stolen through identity theft.

MF Police

1000 block Northeast Fourth Avenue. Bicycle stolen.

Umatilla County Sheriff

Lincton Mountain Road and Highway 2, Weston. Trailer broken into and prescription medications stolen sometime two weeks ago.



Assaults


Umatilla County Sheriff

Orchard in Milton-Freewater area. Man alleges he was assaulted and his wallet taken with force, at some time Wednesday night or early Thursday morning.



Collisions


CP Police

Southeast Lamperti and Larch Avenue. 1:30 p.m. Thursday. Driver of vehicle hit a tree while attempting to make a U-turn. Driver was cited for no valid operator's license.

Columbia County Sheriff

U.S. Highway 12, milepost 361, Dayton. 9:52 p.m. Thursday. Single vehicle accident, no injuries reported.

Kevin M. McAlerney, 203 Kenwood Road. Thursday. Charge: investigation of driving under the influence.

CP Police

Carly Mae Rutan, 31, 1309 S. College Ave. Thursday. Charge: investigation of driving under the influence.

Umatilla County Sheriff

Duane Lee Ward, Weston. Thursday. Charge: investigation of attempted arson.



Vandalism


WW Police

Jabamo Capelli Salon, 120 E. Birch St. Flower pots damaged.

Umatilla County Sheriff

North Broad Street, Weston. Rocks thrown on vehicle, causing damage.



Fire, Ambulance Runs


CP Fire Dept.

Larch Avenue and Lamperti Street, 1:30 p.m. Thursday. Single-vehicle accident. No injuries reported.

Updates

The driver of a moped injured Tuesday morning in a collision with a Ford Taurus remains at Providence St. Mary Medical Center. A nursing supervisor said this morning Carol Blue, 64, of Alvarado Terrace is in satisfactory condition.
