CONSENT AGENDA: Consider approving Feb. 15 minutes, $$25,630 accounts payable, $40,491 payroll, budget status report, and next meeting April 18.
REPORTS: Hear reports from superintendent and business manager.
POLICIES: Consider policies and procedures related to pesticide notification requirements, annual organization meeting and election of officers, non-discrimination, student health, student incentives, non-discrimination and affirmative action, minimum fund balance and bid requirements.
CALENDAR: Discuss school calendar for 2011-12.
CLOSED SESSION: Meet in closed session to discuss para staffing changes.
ATHENA-WESTON SCHOOL BOARD
When: Monday, 7 p.m.
Where: Athena Elementary, 375 S. Fifth Ave.
APRIL: Will hold board meeting April 14 at the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation, with dinner at 6 p.m. and the meeting starting at 7 p.m.
SUSPENSION: Review of suspension by Oregon Department of Education of electronic submission by district of their Continuous Improvement Plan. The method of submitting updates is being suspended until fall 2013 by the state.
FUNDS: Further discussion on 2011-12 budget, including assumed level of state school fund, goal for end fund balance, and general guiding goals on staff, programs, and calendar.
PERSONNEL: Consider hires and resignations, if any.
STAFF: Consider approval of recommended probationary and contract licensed staff changes.
BUDGET: Appointing budget committee members and approving meetings calendar.
POLICIES: Consider approving board policies.
ACADEMIC: Consider approving academic calendar.
DONATIONS: Consider grants and donations.
FFA: Consider transportation request from FFA team to attend state convention.
