M-F woman, two others injured in Franklin County crash


A Milton-Freewater woman was one of three people injured Saturday in a one-car accident in Franklin County.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident occurred at 10:20 p.m. on Highway 395 about 17 miles north of Pasco when a southbound car driven by Jonathan Matavaca, 21, Connell, went off the roadway and rolled over, coming to rest on its top.

Matavaca and two passengers in the vehicle, Tracey A. Bobadilla, 19, of Milton-Freewater, and Dulce Esparanzabobadilla, 2, of Connell, were injured. Bobadilla and the child were taken to Kadlec Medical Center in Richland, where they were treated and released.

Matavaca was taken to Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco. His condition was not available today. A third passenger in the car, Ana Herrera, 22, College Place, was not injured.

Police said the cause of the accident remains under investigation.
