Mario Jay Upham, 31, 1085 N.E. Lake St., Pullman, was sentenced March 14 on one count violation of Uniform Controlled Substances Act-possession of more than 40 grams marijuana. The sentence included $200 in court costs, $62.70 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $500 drug enforcement fund, $100 each crime lab and biological fee, 18 months in the custody of the Department of Corrections, credit for 85 days served, 12 months community custody. On Feb. 28 Upham pleaded guilty to unlawfully possessing more than 40 grams of marijuana on or about Dec. 19.
Robert Casey Johnson, 22, 1501 W. Rose St., No. 48, was sentenced March 15 on one count second-degree malicious mischief. The court dismissed two other counts. The sentence included restitution of $1,500, $200 in court costs, $65.50 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $100 crime biological fee, 90 days in the county jail, credit for six days served, 60 days converted to Department of Corrections work crew. On Jan. 31 Johnson pleaded guilty to causing damage to a vehicle worth more than $750 but less than $5,000 on May, 18, 2008.
Casey C. Mayer, 25, 1016 Penrose St., was charged March 15 with violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act. Mayer is accused of unlawfully possessing methadone on March 14.
