ATHENA - Waitsburg-Prescott came away with a border-battle win over Weston-McEwen, winning the season-opening baseball game 7-4.
Temperatures were cold for players and fans, which caused more errors on the field, said W-M coachT.J. Haguewood.
The TigerScots had five errors to W-P's one.
The TigerScots have another shot at their first win at the Riverside Tournament on Monday.
