Jaguars hand Indians two baseball losses

PASCO - Touchet dropped two baseball games to Tri-Cities Prep Wednesday.

The Indians fell 13-6 and 15-2.

"We struggled a bit in both games from the mound," Touchet coach Wayne Dickey said. "We're still looking to see who can step in and do some pitching for us. We've got a lot of different people throwing so hopefully we'll be able to get better and move on from there."

Touchet had five pitchers throw in 12 innings of baseball, allowing a total of 28 runs on 19 hits

Although the Indians put up runs, including six in the first game, it wasn't enough to compete.

"Offensively, again, we need to hit the ball and improve," Dickey said.

Errors also hurt the Indians, especially in the five-error nightcap against a solid team with a beavey of returning players.

"They're pretty solid baseball," Dickey said of Tri-Cities Prep.

The losses drop the Indians to 1-2 overall. They play at Liberty Christian at 2 p.m. Tuesday then go on spring break.
