POMEROY - The annual two-day Spring Farming Days will be held April 2-3 at the Garfield County Fairgrounds. The free event starts 9 a.m. each day. The Eastern Washington Agricultural Museum is the event sponsor.
Featured events will be horse and mule farming operations from plowing through seeding. More than 50 head of horses and mules will come from around the Northwest to participate. In addition to ongoing demonstrations of horse-drawn farm work, there will be displays of antique tractors, engines, tools and equipment.
The Eastern Washington Agricultural Museum will be open throughout the event and includes new exhibits. Concurrently, the Blue Mountain Artisan Guild exhibition will take place in the Dick Brown Building.
Hot lunch is available both days, and a potluck meal is scheduled for Saturday evening. RV hookups and camping is available on site.
