Touchet Seventh-day Adventist plans health expo

TOUCHET - The Touchet Seventh-day Adventist Church is sponsoring a health expo at 3 p.m. today at Touchet School, 90 Champion St.

Booths from Adventist Health will be open for free screenings for bone density, blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose.

At 3 p.m. will be a presentation, "Simple Secrets to Amazing Health." At 4 p.m. a video "Why Choose a Plant-based Diet" will be shown and at 5 p.m. a cooking demonstration with His Garden Bakery and Cafe will be about bread and healing drinks.

St. Paul's Episcopal to serve soup, pie for lunch Tuesday

The " Soup and Pie" luncheon at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 323 Catherine St., 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday features Elegant Chicken Noodle Soup by Chefs Marilyn Noble and Margaret McDonald, plus a choice of pies.

Tickets are $7 for adults and $3 for children under 11.

SonBridge Community Center hosts Beth Moore Bible study

COLLEGE PLACE - SonBridge Community Center, 1200 S.E. 12th St., is hosting a Beth Moore Bible study series for women, "Jesus The One And Only," from noon to 1 p.m. each Wednesday, through June 1.

Grace Christian Center to host ministry students

WALLA WALLA - Grace Christian Center, 49 Wallula Ave., will host four students fro Global Awakening's School of Supernatural Ministry, part of the Apostolic Network of Global Awakening with Randy Clark and Bill Johnson. There will be workshops. An offering will be received.

At 6:30 p.m. Thursday there willbe a Youth Event.

At 7 p.m. Friday will be Activation and Impartation; from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday workshops will include Hearing God's Voice; How to Receive and Operate in Words of Knowledge; Prophetic Protocol and Deliverance Training. Activiation and Impartation will be at 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday. Call 509-520-1775 for information.

The Father's House sets Priscilla Shirer simulcast

WALLA WALLA - The Father's House, 304 N. Second Ave., will host a simulcast conference for women Friday and Saturday entitled, "Going Beyond: Life Interrupted" featuring Bible teacher Priscilla Shirer on turning "life interruptions" into opportunities to encounter Jesus Christ and serve Him. The Friday simulcast will be 7-9:30 p.m. and the Saturday simulcast will be 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Admittance is free. An offering will be taken to cover expenses.
