Eagle Meadows to host

fashion show Thursday

Eagle Meadows, 550 E. Whitman Drive, College Place will host it's annual fashion show at 2:30 p.m. Thursday with Macy's providing the clothing from its spring fashion line.

Eagle Meadows residents, staff and volunteers from the Milton-Freewater and Weston senior centers will model the clothing. Refreshments will be served and community members of all ages are welcome to attend.

Eagle Meadows is part of he Emeritus Corporation, a national provider of senior living services.

Emeritus currently operates 481 communities in 42 states representing capacity for approximately 42,800 units and approximately 49,900 residents.

Tamstslikt to offer Pepsi Primetime @ the Museum events

Pepsi-Cola of Pendleton has partnered with Tamstslikt Cultural Institute to offer a program series called "Pepsi Primetime @ the Museum" The programs will feature well known speakers, interactive presentations and special activities.

Tamastslikt presents programs every four to six weeks throughout the year with content most often relevant to the museum's current exhibit. Because of the current partnership, these public programs will continue to be offered free of charge.

The new series will start at 1 p.m. April 16, with "Meet the Curator." Vicki Coats, OMSI curator, will talk about the behind the scenes development of OMSI exhibits from conception to finish. This includes the exhibit "Amazing Feats of Aging," opening at Tamastslikt April 1.

May 12, 6 p.m., Pepsi Primetime @ the Museum will present Gayle Seely in "Saving Our Stories," about the process of collecting family histories.

June 9, 6 p.m. Molly Mettler, Healthwise executive from Boise, will present "Is 60 the New 40?" a thought-provoking discussion of the many aspects of aging.
