COLLEGE PLACE -- The Village Church, 715 S.E. 12th St. hosts the Walla Walla Coronary Health Improvement Project Chapter dinner, in the Fellowship Room 6-8 p.m. Wednesday. The dinner will be a quick and easy dishes potluck supper. Following dinner will be there will be a review and forum style discussion of Jeff Novick's DVD, "Fast Food" followed by a fun exercise session. MILTON-FREEWATER -- Portland Christian band "The Neverclaim" will play 7 p.m. Friday at McLoughlin High School, 120 S. Main St. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The concert is free. For more information, call 503-961-3988.

WALLA WALLA -- St. Patrick Parish hosts a Welcome Home Gathering following the 5:30 Mass, around 6:30 p.m., Saturday in the John of the Cross Room in Blanchet Hall, 425 W. Alder St. This is a social gathering for Catholics who have gotten away from the practice of the faith and would like help returning. For information about the welcome home gathering or for those interested in learning more about the Catholic Church or who may be interested in being initiated into it, call 525-1602.
