PASCO - Wa-Hi's golfers finished in fourth place at the Pasco Invitational at Sun Willows Golf Course Monday.
The invite included Scotch ball, a chapman and a scramble.
Wa-Hi's Scotch ball team of Cassie Patterson and Larissa Mercado shot a 111 for third place.
Scramble team Kendall Dunovant and Allison Shrouf had a 90 for third, and chapman team Jessica Huntsman and Addie Chapman had a 123.
"This was a whole different format than anything the girls have ever played," said Wa-Hi golf coach Mike Patterson. "It's a fun, competitive little tournament, and I was able to put some girls who haven't played with other girls on the same team. It's a good learning experience for the entire team."
Pasco and West Valley tied at 24 points to lead the invite. Eastmont had 20.5, Wa-Hi 20, Kamiakin 19, Kennewick 19, Chiawana 17.5, Richland 14, Eisenhower 11, Southridge 10 and Hanford 6.
Wa-Hi travels to Yakima for its final pod match of the year today. The results today will determine which of the Big Nine's girls will qualify for 33 spots to districts, which begin next Monday.
