WALLA WALLA - Applicants are being sought for the Walla Walla Fair and Frontier Days board.
Board members serve three-year terms and meet once a month or as needed. Members serve in a volunteer capacity. The deadline for applying is the end of this month.
Information and application packets can be downloaded from the county website or picked up at the county commissioners' office in the Public Health and Legislative Building, 314 W. Main St.,
Packets are also available at the fairgrounds main office at Ninth Avenue and Orchard Street or by calling the commissioners' office at 523-2505 or the fairgrounds office at 527-3247.
The opening is due to the expiration of board member Dick Moeller's third consecutive term. According to the board's bylaws, members who have served three consecutive terms are not eligible for a fourth term.
