Tigers coast to wins over Mac-Hi

Mac-Hi's Alex Ortiz runs down a La Grande ball hit deep to center field and seemed to have the out with the ball headed for the glove and the right hand ready to seal the deal. He couldn't quite bring it in, though, adding to the Pioneers' early trouble and a 5-0 deficit during the second inning.

MILTON-FREEWATER - Carson Miller did not allow a hit and struck out seven over five innings here Saturday to lead La Grande to an 11-0 victory over Mac-Hi in the first game of a Greater Oregon League baseball doubleheader at McRae-Ireland Field.

The Tigers scored six times in the first inning of game two and coasted to an 11-5 win.
