WALLA WALLA - Wa-Hi's Alyson Ambler was voted Big Nine fastpitch softball Most Valuable Player following the regular season.
Ambler also earned first-team pitcher along with Richland's Lindsey Walchli. Blue Devil teammate Hope Klicker earned second-team pitching honors.
Wa-Hi's TraeAnn Payne also was first-team in the outfield.
Second-team honors went to Wa-Hi's Libbie Jimenez at second base and Andrea Hamada at shortstop. Hamada also was named co-Outstanding Defensive Player of the Year.
Honorable mention went to Ashley Bezdicek at third and Mariah Gerling in the outfield.
