$n$ Wa-Hi track athletes earn awards after season


WALLA WALLA - Wa-Hi track and field athletes raked in all-Big Nine awards.

On the girls side, Kailee Davisson was first in the 400-meter dash, followed by teammate Maggie Callan second.

Sydney Christensen was second in the shot put and discus.

Honorable mention went to Rachel Nelson in the 1600 meters; Gabby Anderson in the 100 hurdles; Torrin Crawford in the triple jump; Madeline Jacobson in the javelin; and the girls 800 relay team.

On the boys side, Kyle Jameson was first in the 300 hurdles, as well as HM in the 100 hurdles, and Jake Robertson was first in the triple jump. Robertson was also HM in the high jump and javelin.

Second went to Austin Morgan in the 800 and Aaron Nelson in the 1600.

Honorable mention was earned by John-Paul Wolpert in the 3200; Jesus Ceron in the 100 hurdles; Sawyer Neiffer in the 300 hurdles; and the boys 400 relay and 1600 relay.
