WALLA WALLA -- A bank account has been set up to help the family of Julio Cesar Martinez with expenses. Martinez died after being shot Tuesday evening in the 300 block of Myrtle Street.

Donations may be made at any Chase branch; the account is in the name of Martinez's brother, Rodolfo.

Besides the account, car washes are planned throughout the area and the family hopes to place donation cans in local businesses. Donations also may be made at Colonial-Dewitt Funeral Home, which is handling the arrangements.
