WWCC pitcher Kosanke earns NWAACC East MVP

WALLA WALLA - Walla Walla Community College pitcher and outfielder Dara Kosanke earned NWAACC Eastern Region Most Valuable Player and first team as pitcher following the Warriors' regular season.

Warrior coach Mike Staudenmaier earned Coach of the Year, and WWCC's Alexis Bobadilla was first-team in the outfield.

Second-team honors went to Warriors Jill McDaniels and Katie Marell in the infield, and Mercedes Pearson in the outfield.

The Warriors are at the NWAACC Championships in Portland this weekend.
