EUGENE - Emily Childers finished in second place in the 800 in 2:21.64 and sixth in the 400 in 59.38 for Mac-Hi at the Oregon Class 4A state track meet here Saturday.
"We had a great end to the season and we had a good time," said Mac-Hi coach John Milleson. "That was what was important today."
Mac-Hi had seven qualifiers and two alternates at the meet.
Alejandra Ibarra set a school record with a javelin throw of 111 feet, 3 inches, good for ninth overall.
