WALLA WALLA -- Proposed amendments to the county Comprehensive Plan will be on the agenda for the Walla Walla County Planning Commission Wednesday.
Planning commissioners will meet at 7 p.m. in the second-floor meeting room of the county Public Health and Legislative Building, 314 W. Main St.
Public hearings will be held on six proposed changes to the Comprehensive Plan. Three of the proposals are from Walla Walla County for technical corrections and clarifications to maps and the development code.
A fourth proposal is from Scott Byerley requesting a change in regards to transfer of cluster lot density. The fifth proposal is from J and J Golf to allow wedding and event centers at golf courses in unincorporated areas zoned Agriculture Residential, 10-acre-minimum lots.
The sixth proposal is from Ben Dawson to amend land use and zoning designation for 36 acres located at or about 103 Owens Road. The request is to change the zoning and land use designation from Agricultural Residential, 10-acre minimum, to Rural Residential, five-acre minimum.
