- Simon Van Neste, 21, 327 E. Birch St., was charged Oct. 28 with two counts of second-degree identity theft and one count of second-degree burglary. Van Neste is accused of knowingly using or transferring a means of identification of two people, and unlawfully entering or remaining in the Reid Campus Center, Whitman College, 280 Boyer Ave., with the intent to commit a crime on Oct. 20.
- Bobbi S. Harter, 32, 145 W. Broadway, Milton-Freewater, was charged Oct. 31 with two counts of violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act and one count of third-degree theft. Harter is accused of unlawfully possessing methamphetamine and using drug paraphernalia on Oct. 29, and wrongfully obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over miscellaneous merchandise belonging to Super 1 Foods on Oct. 28.
- Samuel L. Johnson, 29, address not confirmed, was charged Nov. 1 with attempting to elude a pursuing police vehicle and two counts of violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act. Johnson is accused of willfully failing or refusing to stop his vehicle after being signaled to do so by a uniformed police officer, unlawfully possessing less than 40 grams of marijuana and using drug paraphernalia on Oct. 29.
- Matthew O. Hastings, 51, no permanent address listed, was charged Nov. 1 with third-degree assault, second-degree criminal trespass, third-degree malicious mischief, and violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act. Hastings is accused of knocking a Walla Walla County sheriff's deputy to the ground, knowingly entering or remaining unlawfully in or upon premises, knowingly and maliciously damaging property, and unlawfully possessing less than 40 grams of marijuana on Oct. 31.
