Williams Team Homes will host a one-evening-only art show Friday for the First Friday Art Walk. Native American Artist, Woody Crumbo will his silk-screen art and etchings.
The life of Woody Crumbo, 1912-1989, parallels the 20th century evolution of American Indian art.
An accomplished native dancer, flutist, silversmith and poet, Crumbo is perhaps best known today for his oil paintings and silk screens -- revolutionary artworks that were denigrated by some critics, but helped move Indian art to museums of fine art, as well as its markets.
The examples shown are from a complete collection of 14 silk-screen prints in an edition of 130 in an edition of 200.
