WALLA WALLA - Holiday Retirement, a veteran retirement organization, will host a fundraising dinner Nov. 13.
The effort is part of a national goal to raise $1.2 million to fund Outward Bound training for 600 veterans. Outward Bound is a wilderness training program that emphasizes personal growth and interpersonal skills development.
The dinner will be at Park Plaza Retirement, 1400 Dalles Military Road, a member of the Holiday Retirement organization.
Cost for the event is $20 for adults and $10 for children under 18. There are two seating times available. The first is noon, the second is 1:30 p.m.
Live music will be provided and guests may purchase raffle tickets for a flat-screen TV.
