WALLA WALLA - Challengers Mary Lou Jenkins and Chris Plucker appear headed toward victories in a pair of City Council races. Jenkins leads incumbent Dominick Elia and Plucker leads incumbent Fred Mitchell.
Meanwhile, incumbents Barbara Clark and Jerry Cummins look to retain their seats on the Council over respective challengers Bradley Sandau and Dick Swenson, although the Cummins-Swenson race is within the margin of possibility.
