A reception featuring watercolorist Mary Goulet Granger and Turkish cartoonist Meral Onat will be 6:30-9 p.m. Friday at Stephenson Cellars, 15 Spokane St.
Goulet Granger is a native of Cathlament, Wash., and has a studio in College Place.
She has been featured artist at the 1880 House in Rainier, Ore., and Frame Works Gallery here.
Her work is currently showing in the Uptown Gallery of Joseph, Ore. She specializes in Pacific Northwest landscapes and seascapes. She is largely self-taught but has studied under Charles Mulvey of Seaview, Wash. and has painted for more than 30 years.
Onat is an attorney and political cartoonist, who writes and depicts actual heroes of Turkey in their battle against the British when they were protecting the water of the Dardinelles.
