The 25th annual Tree of Life tree and candle lighting ceremony will be 7 p.m. Dec. 11 in the Die Brucke Building, 8 E. Main St.
Sponsored by Walla Walla Community Hospice, the ceremony will include reading names in the Tree of Life book, plus music, candle lighting and refreshments.
In coordination with the ceremony, individuals may dedicate a light on the tree in memory of or in honor of a loved one for a donation of $10.
The name of the honored person is printed on a paper tree ornament and placed on the tree, and is also inscribed in the Tree of Life book.
For a contribution of $25, donors may also request a glass tree ornament. This year a winter cottage design is etched into beveled glass.
Lights and ornaments may be purchased at the Hospice office, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday, or call WWCH at 525-5561.
Order information is also on the WWCH website at www.wwhospice.org.
All funds raised from the Tree of Life are used to provide hospice care in Walla Walla, Columbia and Northeastern Umatilla counties.
