Warrior women shut out Clark

WALLA WALLA - Sophomore forward Kaylie Winston scored four goals to power Walla Walla Community College to a 6-0 shutout over visiting Clark College Saturday in the quarterfinals of the NWAACC soccer championship.

The Warriors now move on to the semifinals, where they face Everett Saturday at the Starfire Complex in Tukwila, Wash.

Winston recorded the hat-trick-plus-one with goals coming in the 38th, 40th, 51st and 62nd minutes.

Sophomore goalkeeper Courtney Hancock recorded the shutout for the Warriors.

Ali Skogrand started the scoring on a Sami Hansen assist in the 20th minute.

Hansen scored another goal in the 59th minute.

Samantha Johnson recorded an assist on Winston's goal in the 51st minute.
