WALLA WALLA - Walla Walla Community College volleyball player Brittany Dominguez earned NWAACC East Region Most Valuable Player honors.

"Despite missing two conference matches with a broken nose, Brittany was clearly the best hitter in the East," Warrior coach Tim Toon said. "Most of the time, the MVP comes from the team that wins the conference. Our second-place finish and her dominating play won over the voters."

Warrior teammate Libby Kern earned first-team all-conference honors, and Kayla Hanus is second-team all-conference.

The trio are joined by Laekynn Culpepper on the Sophomore All-Star Team.

And Toon earned his fourth NWAACC East Region Coach of the Year award in the last eight seasons.
