Blue Mountain Heart to Heart's Executive Director Jill Dickey resigned from her position in a letter emailed to colleagues and friends.

Her last day will be Dec. 2. She has accepted the post of medical foster home program coordinator at the Jonathan M. Wainwright VA Medical Center.

"The experience I have had working with all of you has been very positive, and I am fortunate to have worked for a wonderful nonprofit organization," she said in her letter. "I will be a life-long volunteer for nonprofits because, in large part, of the amazing volunteers I have met through this agency."

Dickey said her position at BMH2H will be filled on an interim basis by Everett Maroon, with whom Dickey has worked closely.

For 1 years, Maroon has been the agency's grant writer.

"I believe he will be a strong advocate and leader and a great fit for the position," Dickey said.

Maroon can be reached at the office, 2316 Eastgate St. Suite 105, at 509-529-4744 or evmaroon@hotmail.com until Dec. 2 and after that at director@bluemountainheart.org.

Blue Mountain Heart to Heart works to prevent new HIV and Hepatitis C infections and provide compassionate care and assistance for those infected and affected by the diseases.
