First Christian Church in M-F offers free breakfast Sundays

MILTON-FREEWATER - First Christian Church, 518 S. Main St., will serve breakfast free from 8:30-9:30 this morning before the worship service.

There will be an omelette bar, hashbrowns and all the fixings.

Sunday school classes are at 9:30 a.m. and worship is at 10:30 a.m. Breakfast will be offered at the same time each Sunday, except Christmas Day. Call 541-938-3854.

St. James Episcopal plans concert to help Bread Basket

MILTON-FREEWATER - St. James Episcopal Church, 719 Pierce St. will present a group of local string players from the Inland Northwest Musician's Orchestra in concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

R. Lee Friese will direct and conduct the concert, with Christmas favorites, "oldies and goodies,' a little blues and a touch of Celtic music. The audience may be invited to sing along. St. Patrick Catholic plans breakfast, fair trade sale

WALLA WALLA - A breakfast and a sale of fair trade goods will be at 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Dec. 4 in the parish hall of St. Patrick Catholic Church, 415 W. Alder St. Fair trade chocolate, tea, weavings from Guatemala, and handicrafts from South America and elsewhere will be sold. Breakfast is $6 per adult, $3 per child and $20 per family.
