WALLA WALLA -- A knife-wielding man held up Baskin-Robbins ice cream store, 2003 Isaacs Ave., at 5:40 p.m. on Sunday, police said.
The suspect entered the shop and told the attendant to open the cash register and then step back, police said. After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled on foot. Police said the attendant reported the man wore a hooded jacket and a bandana across his face during the robbery.
Since Oct. 26, there have been three reported robberies and one attempted robbery in the city, and they all could be the work of the same man, described as a slender white male, around 6 feet tall, according to Officer Tim Bennett, city police spokesman.
"We are looking at the possibility it's the same suspect," Bennett said. "We'd certainly like people to come forward if they have information on any of the robberies."
