Burrell Harry Schierman, 80, died Nov. 15, 2011, at Hospice House in Hayden, Idaho.
He was born Aug. 28, 1931, in Colfax, Wash., where he grew up and attended school. Durning his life he served in the Army, worked as route supervisor for Coca-Cola and farmed for many years in the Colfax area until he retired. He moved to Moscow, Idaho, where he purchased and managed the Slurp N Burp Tavern. He retired again and moved to Sagle, Idaho. Due to health issues, he later moved to Hayden.
Surviving is his wife of 52 years, Sally Porter Schierman; daughter, Kathy Schierman Bleam of Spokane; sons, Burrell Schierman Jr. of Nampa, Idaho, and Ted Schierman of West Richland, Wash.; five grandchildren and Erin, Jessica Schierman and Michael, Noah and Adam Bleam. Also survived by his brother Steven Schierman of Moscow, Idaho.
His body was entrusted to Yates Funeral Home, Coeur D' Alene, Idaho, for cremation.
