YAKIMA - Wa-Hi's girls finished 13th and its boys were 15th during the annual Sunfair Invitational cross country meet at Franklin Park here Saturday.
The Blue Devils were 20th overall.
Wa-Hi's best performances came in the fifth flight. Seth Newcomb was 10th in the boys three-mile race with a mark of 16:35.8. Catherine Feistner finished 12th in the girls field with a 20:06.6.
Mckelle Willwand was Wa-Hi's top girl in the first of seven flights run on the day. She posted a time of 22:35.8 over three miles, good for 25th overall. Zach Telfer finished 44th on the boys side in 19:14.4.
Emily Atkinson was 28th in the girls second flight with a 22:36.2 mark. Dan Butler posted an 18:55.9 in the boys second flight, good for 46th.
The Blue Devils' Jenny Wall placed 42nd in the third flight in 23:02.8. Alec Jones was Wa-Hi's best boy in flight three with an 18:29.5 mark.
Wa-Hi's Lea Davidson was 26th in the girls fourth flight in 21:23.4. Sean Hollenbeck placed 16th in the boys field in 17:07.8.
Both Hannah Hampson and Greggory Heller were 19th in their respective races in flight six. Hampson's time was 20:11 and Heller finished in 16:38.2.
In the final flight, Rachel Nelson placed 28th for Wa-Hi in 19:38.3 and J.P. Wolpert completed three miles in 14th place in 16:06.7.
