Thefts, Burglaries


WW Police

Walla Walla Vineyard Inn parking, 325 E. Main St. Vehicle prowled, four plastic totes, clothing and toiletries and digital camera taken from truck bed.

Olin Hall, 814 E. Isaacs Ave. Bicycle stolen. It was not locked.

500 block North Division Street. Sunday. Unlocked residence entered. Occupant was assaulted and money was demanded. The two suspects were known to the occupant.

500 block South Second Avenue. Friday. Safe and contents stolen from residence.

WW County Sheriff

Second and Fifth Street area, Burbank. A reader board and two construction vehicles owned by Selland Construction of Wenatchee were prowled, vandalized with wires cut and had items stolen, such as batteries and tools, some time between Friday and Monday.

Sun Mart, 35 Apple Lane, Burbank. A wallet was stolen.

CP Police

900 block Northeast Dawson Street. Prescription medication taken from package delivered to address.

MF Police

900 block Ward Street. Vehicle and chain saw stolen.

Umatilla County Sheriff

Waterman Road, Athena. A Martin bow, Sony Handicam and Dell laptop computer stolen sometime between Sept. 11 and 18.



Assaults


WW County Sheriff

100 block Murphy Street, Waitsburg. Friday. A man reported he was assaulted by two known assailants while he was driving his vehicle. The assailants struck him repeatedly and had also shown knives. They fled the scene once the vehicle halted by the 400 block of Preston Avenue.



Collisions


WW County Sheriff

Mill Creek Road near Buroker Road. 5:20 p.m. Saturday. A vehicle attempted to pass a vehicle that was passing a slow-moving vehicle. They collided. No injuries were reported.

Pikes Peak Road near Foster Road. Thursday. A vehicle that was in a roll-over was found abandoned in a stubble field. The driver was contacted and said the tire had blown out and it rolled.

Umatilla County Sheriff

Highway 11, Milton-Freewater. 11:43 a.m. Monday. A vehicle backing up struck a vehicle behind it. No injuries.

Columbia County Sheriff

U.S. Highway 12, milepost 361. 7:35 a.m. Monday. Vehicle struck deer.



Fire, Ambulance runs


WW Ambulance

Poplar and Colville streets, 12:08 p.m. Monday, bicycle and car collision. Nobody was transported.

Columbia County Fire Dist. 3

Bundy Hollow and Lower Hogeye roads, 4:07 p.m. Monday. Mutual aid to Fire District 2 at a fire.

Waitsburg Fire Dist 2.

Bundy Hollow and Lower Hogeye roads, 4 p.m. Monday. Fire, no further information available.



Vandalism


WW County Sheriff

Columbia Middle School, 835 Maple St., Burbank. Grafitti on the playing surface of the basketball court.

MF Police

Southwest Eighth Avenue and College Street. Graffiti on two stop signs.

Columbia County Sheriff

100 block Peabody Hill Road. Criminal mischief reported.
