MONDAY

Budget: Consider amendments to 2011 county budget.

nuisance abatement: Consider an intergovernmental agreement between the county and city for prevention, removal and abatement of nuisances in the Urban Growth Area .

sales tax: Continue discussion and possible action/direction to staff regarding the possible implementation of a 0.1 percent sales tax to fund mental health and substance abuse treatment

TUESDAY

Workshop: Reports and miscellaneous business. No formal action to be taken.

When: 7 p.m. Monday.

Where: College Place City Hall, 625 S. College Ave.

reports: Hear reports on Myra Road and Whitman Drive construction, as well as Wells 1 and 3.

A-w SCHOOL BOARD

When: Monday, 7 p.m.

Where: Weston Middle School library, 205 E. Wallace.

REPORT: Hear details on Oregon Department of Education release of district and school report cards. The district met all federal AYP targets.

GRADES: Discussion on impact of potential restructure of grades into K-6, and 7-12 configuration. The district currently has three schools; K-3, 4-8, and 9-12.

STANDARDS: Review of common core standards proposed by ODE.

POLICY: Consider adopting board policy on attendance to reflect new state law.

TITLE IX: Discussion on state decision to not proceed with an investigation of a Title IX complaint filed against 60 districts.

COLUMBIA SCHOOL BOARD

When: Monday, 7 p.m. School board interviews to be held at 5 p.m.; executive session at 6:30 p.m.

Where: Administration board room, 755 Maple St.

INTERVIEWS: Interviews with school board candidates at 5 p.m. The session is open to the public.

EXECUTIVE: The board will meet in executive, or closed, session at 6:30 p.m.

CONSENT: Consider approval of new hires or resignations, and bills and payroll, as part of consent agenda.

WAIVER: Consider approval of assignment waivers.

DISCUSSION: Conduct board workshop on Professional Learning Communities.
