POMEROY - Pomeroy won its Southeast 1B volleyball match with Touchet here Thursday night, 25-16, 25-15, 25-22.
For the Pirates, Delaney Monahan had eight kills, Haylee Koller 18 assists, and McKenzie Uto three aces and eight digs.
For the Indians, Harlie Schaeffer came up with 17 assists, Josie Christopher 10 kills and three blocks, and Kelsey Brown six digs.
"I have been very proud of the girls this week," Touchet coach April Miller said. "They are playing as a team with great heart. The numbers don't show how far they have come."
Touchet, now 0-13, hosts Tekoa-Oakesdale while Pomeroy hosts St. John-Endicott, both at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
