ONTARIO - The Mac-Hi girls volleyball team enjoyed some success here Saturday against Ontario, winning in four games - by scores of 25-22, 22-25, 25-10 and 25-16. "My girls played awesome tonight at the net," Mac-Hi volleyball coach Kaila Rodighiero said. "They came ready to win and did great."

Serving was perhaps Mac-Hi's greatest strength on the afternoon.

Haley Freske was 23-25 and Avery Wells was 16-18 with four aces apiece. Megan Reed added a 13-15 showing with six aces.

Freske added four blocks and seven kills while Wells had 14 kills. Reed had four kills.

The Pioneers league record is now 2-6. Mac-Hi is in third place with one match at La Grande at six p.m. Tuesday, left remaining in the regular season.

Third place would be good enough to get a play-in game for the state playoffs for Mac-Hi.
