IRRIGON - The Weston-McEwen TigerScots cleaned up Blue Mountain Conference opponents Pilot Rock and Irrigon here Saturday afternoon.
The TigerScots, ranked third in the latest OSAA rankings, beat Pilot Rock in straight sets, 25-11, 25-15 and 25-12.
In similar fashion, the TigerScots beat up on Irrigon, 25-18, 25-14 and 25-10 to improve to 13-0 in league and 23-5 overall.
"Everyone contributed," W-M coach Shawn White said. "We had good, consistent play all-around."
Molly von Borstel had a team-high 20 kills on the day. Taylor Rudolph added nine kills and Melanie Sederburg had six kills. Marlene Bodnar and Katy West added five smashes apiece.
Morgan Entze was the team statistical leader with 16 kills, 10 aces and 29 assists.
McKayla Carlin had 11 digs and five serving aces.
Danny Dering was 6-for-6 from the serving line.
Karen Coffman had 13 assists, Jaymie Zimmerman eight aces and Mckenzie Fuhrman six digs for Weston-McEwen.
"It was a good day," White said. "I'm very happy with how we played and hopefully we got a little better."
W-M's closes out its regular season Tuesday when it hosts league rival Elgin.
