WALLA WALLA - Wa-Hi's girls soccer team ended the Big Nine 4A regular season with a 3-1 victory over Eisenhower on the Blue Devil pitch Tuesday.
Wa-Hi's Angelica Escalante scored off an assist from Paige Pontarollo in the 29th minute as the Blue Devils held a 1-0 halftime lead.
In the second half, Pontarollo put Wa-Hi up 2-0 in the 47th minute before Ike's Ali Sellsted put the Cadets on the board in the 63rd minute.
Bridgit Lyons scored the final goal for the Blue Devils in the 74th minute.
Wa-Hi keeper Alexis Sanchez had four saves in goal for the Blue Devils.
"I want to credit all the girls," Wa-Hi coach Jesse Cruz said. "I hope we continue playing at this level."
The Blue Devils (4-8 in Big Nine action) now play a District loser-out match Saturday, at a time and against an opponent to be named.
"It's a loser-out, so we need to keep playing well," Cruz said.
