First Congregational Church to hear from missionaries

WALLA WALLA - First Congregational Church, 73 S. Palouse St. will host missionary team Liz and Doug Searles, who will share their experiences working with the Roma in Poland, at noon, Tuesday. Since 1997, the Searles have ministered in India, China, and Poland.

The Roma were formerly known as Gypsies.

The speaker will be Hal Gates of Regeneration Ministries.

Ingle Chapel's fall lunch, holiday bazaar slated Saturday

MILTON-FREEWATER - Ingle Chapel, 85372 Highway 339, holds its annual fall lunch and holiday bazaar, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday. The bazaar includes raffle items, baked goods, and handcrafted gifts. St. Paul's Episcopal plans Scholarship Auction Nov 6

WALLA WALLA - St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 323 Catherine St., holds its fifth annual Scholarship Auction, 4:30-7 p.m., Nov. 6. Many items will be up for sale at the silent auction, including artwork, decorative items for the home, collectibles, dinners, trips, use of vacation homes, handmade items, homemade baked good, baskets of gourmet treats, games, books, wine, services such as gardening, lawn mowing, lessons and much more.

Walla Walla City Church to hold Fall Festival fundraiser Nov. 12

WALLA WALLA - Walla Walla City Church, 2133 S. Howard St. holds its annual Fall Festival, 6:30-8 p.m. Nov. 12. This event is a fundraiser for the City Church Ministries and is open to the public. Christian Women's Connection luncheon will take place Nov. 16

DAYTON - Christian Women's Connection plans a luncheon and auction from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Nov. 16 at the Seneca Activity Center in Dayton.

The cost is $10.

Donate any new or good quality used items and bring them to the luncheon for the silent auction. Proceeds go to Stonecroft Ministries.

The cost of the luncheon has gone up $1.
