  • Karla Cerda, 15, 313 W. Chestnut St., was sentenced Oct. 21 on one count contempt-truancy. The sentence included seven days in the Juvenile Justice Center, credit for seven days served, six months community supervision, 20 hours community service, $100 to crime victims compensation fund, $110 in court costs. On Oct. 7 Cerda pleaded guilty to intentionally disobeying a lawful court order requiring a student to attend school between March 30 and May 12.

  • Destiney K. Wall, 15, 120 S.E. Mountain View Drive, College Place, was sentenced Oct. 21 on one count minor in possession and or consuming liquor. The sentence included 10 days in the Juvenile Justice Center, credit for five days served, nine months community supervision, 20 hours community service, $100 to crime victims compensation fund, $110 in court costs. On Oct. 9 Wall pleaded guilty to knowingly possessing, consuming or otherwise acquiring liquor while under 21.

  • Rosindee Thompson, 17, 1304 S. College Ave, Apt. A, College Place, was sentenced Oct. 21 on one count contempt-truancy. The sentence included 20 days in the Juvenile Justice Center, credit for 17 days served, nine months community supervision, $100 to crime victims compensation fund, $110 in court costs. On Oct. 7 Thompson pleaded guilty to intentionally disobeying a lawful court order requiring a student to attend school between March 30 and May 23.

  • Alyssa J. Throw, 18, 409 S. Third Ave, Apt. F, was sentenced Oct. 21 on one count third-degree malicious mischief. The sentence included 30 days in the Walla Walla County Jail, credit for eight days served, six months community supervision, 20 hours community service, $100 to crime victims compensation fund, $110 in court costs. On Sept. 9 Throw pleaded guilty to knowingly and maliciously causing physical damage to property of another under circumstances not amounting to malicious mischief in the first- or second-degree, on May 29.
