PRINEVILLE, Ore. - The Mac-Hi girls cross country team placed second at districts in the 5,000 meters race and will advance into the state meet next Saturday at Lane Community College in Eugene. The boys got fourth place at districts and their season is over.
"We were very pleased with the girls effort today," Mac-Hi John Milleson said. "It was a beautiful day to run but the boys just didn't quite have what it takes to advance onto state."
Josie Lonai got second place overall in the girls race and was Mac-Hi's top finisher.
