On behalf of the Walla Walla Sheriff's Foundation Board of Directors, I would like to invite the public to attend a meeting concerning the Foundation's purpose on Sept. 7 at the Walla Walla Regional Airport Conference Room from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m.
The objectives of the meeting are to learn more about the equipment, supplies, infrastructure and other needs of the Sheriff Foundation committees, including, but not limited to, the fund raising committee and the public relations committee.
Sheriff John Turner will serve as key note speaker for the evening meeting. The Board is confident the information Sheriff Turner and his staff will provide at this meeting will help establish a common understanding of why the Foundation's work is critically important to enhancing law enforcement's capability to protect the lives and property of residents of Walla Walla County.
We would very much appreciate your attendance at this meeting. Please feel free to bring anyone else interested in gaining more information about the needs of the Sheriff's Office, and in supporting the functions of the Sheriff's Foundation.
