Man in critical condition after motorcycle wreck near Dayton


DAYTON -- An Oak Harbor, Wash., man was in critical condition today after a motorcycle crash Friday east of Dayton.

Bradley J. Derouchey, 57, was injured when his motorcycle crashed about 1:20 p.m. on U.S. Highway 12 about seven miles east of the city.

According to the Washington State Patrol, Derouchey was eastbound on the road and failed to negotiate a left-hand curve when he lost control in dirt and gravel.

Derouchey was hospitalized after being taken to St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Idaho.
