WAITSBURG - Waitsburg-Prescott sent Walla Walla Valley Academy home with a three-set Southeast 2B District volleyball loss here Tuesday.
The home team won 25-16, 25-12, 25-21.
Ronnie Hulce led W-P with 10 kills, eight digs and four blocks; Krystal Harris had seven digs; Rhiannon Chapman six aces; Dionna Baker two blocks; Victoria Bly two aces; Amanda Cook three kills and five digs; and Kayla Huxoll recorded 17 assists and eight digs.
For the Knights, Carline Larson notched three kills and Solano Young collected three blocks. Brooklynn Larson led the team wiht four assists and Hannah Woolever was 8-for-9 serving with a pair of aces.
Waitsburg-Prescott leveled its record at 1-1 and WWVA now stands 0-2.
"We are struggling right now," WWVA coach Scott Schafer said. "This is the first time we have had everyone together and we are still trying to find our rhythm."
WWVA entertains Dayton tonight at 6 in another league match while Waitsburg-Prescott travels to Asotin on Thursday for a 6 p.m. district counter.
