Thefts, Burglaries


WW County Sheriff

00 block West Cemetery Road, Dixie. One SKS Yugo M-59 and one Colt/Walther AR-15 with magazines stolen.

York and Gose streets. A roll of copper wire stolen from Mike Harvey's Plumbing Services at a construction site.

9200 block West Highway 12. Lock cut to tack room, two chain saws and gas cans taken. Lock cut to cellar, two large hams stolen from freezer. Gasoline siphoned from a tractor and a tool box from the back of a pickup truck also stolen.

CP Police

700 block South College Avenue. Window broken on business, laptop computer taken.

MF Police

100 block Southeast Ninth Avenue. Vehicle stolen.

Sam's Stop and Shop, 1121 S. Main St. Two shoplifting incidents.

Umatilla County Sheriff

Highway 339, Milton-Freewater. Transmission and transfer case and a stainless steel commercial deep fryer.

North Third Street, Athena. A box containing bee feeders which was delivered by United Parcel Service taken off front porch.

North Franklin Street, Weston. A .22-caliber, long-barrel pistol with leather holster taken from residence.

Columbia County Sheriff

400 block South Second Street, Dayton. Residential burglary.



Collisions


WW Police

Walla Walla Urgent Care, 380 Chase St., 9:50 a.m. Monday. A driver wearing a surgical boot attempted to park in front of the building. The driver pushed the accelerator instead of the brake and the vehicle lunged forward, went over the parking barriers and struck the building with significant intrusion. Driver Martin Ayala Trujillo, 40, Walla Walla, was cited for second-degree negligent driving.

1000 block Penrose Street. 7:22 a.m. Monday. An unknown vehicle backed from a driveway and struck a vehicle parked on the street.

Chestnut Street and Ninth Avenue. 4:31 p.m. Monday. Rear-end collision. No further information.



Arrests


Walla Walla Police Dept.

Justin J. Stokes, 36, transient. Monday. Charge: investigation of two counts indecent exposure and one count indecent exposure to a person less than 14 years old.

MF Police

Marvin Lecial Cody Hoskins, 24, 325 Powell Street, No. 5. Monday, arrested twice. Charges: investigation of two counts third-degree criminal mischief and one count second-degree disorderly conduct.



Fire, Ambulance runs


WW Ambulance

380 Chase Street, 9:50 a.m. Monday. A vehicle struck building. The man and woman in the vehicle were not transported.

Myra Road and Pine Street, 4:22 p.m. Monday. Motor vehicle accident. The run was cancelled en route.

County Road 448. 3:46 p.m. Monday. Field fire.



Vandalism


WW Police

Whitman College, 345 Boyer Ave. A storm window on the Administration building was broken.

500 block Willow Street. Graffiti on a garage, some time over the weekend.
