WAITSBURG - Waitsburg-Prescott picked up a four-set non-league volleyball victory over visiting Mac-Hi here Wednesday night.
W-P downed the Pioneers 25-15, 25-14, 21-25 and 25-11.
"I thought we played extremely well, except for the third set," W-P coach Angie Potts said. "The other three sets we had control of the match. Everybody played really well."
Ronnie Hulce had nine kills, 12 digs, three blocks and four aces for W-P.
Kayla Huxoll recorded eight assists and six digs, Krystal Harris had six assists, three kills, five digs and five aces, Dionna Baker had eight kills and three aces, Rhiannon Chapman tallied five kills, and Amanda Cook chalked up five kills, three aces and eight digs.
"I was pleased with how we played," Potts said. "We picked up our intensity and we were aggressive."
W-P, now 10-4 overall and 1-2 in Southeast 2B play, hosts DeSales for a league match at 6 p.m. tonight.
