Wa-Hi coach among hundreds to support Coach to Cure MD

WALLA WALLA -- Walla Walla High School's varsity football coach, Eric Hisaw, along with coaches from more than 500 universities and high schools around the country, will join Coach to Cure MD in the fight against Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

Wa-Hi is the first high school in the state to participate, with Washington State University also involved, according to a news release.

Wa-Hi will play Davis High School at Borleske Stadium on Friday at 7:30 p.m. Coaches from both teams will be wearing armbands to show their support for Coach to Cure MD and the fight against the disease. Donations will be gathered throughout the game.
