$n$Indians suffer three-set loss at Tekoa-Oakesdale

TEKOA - Tekoa-Oakesdale handed Touchet a three-set Southeast 1B volleyball loss Thursday.

T-O won the match 25-18, 25-10, 25-19.

Touchet's Kristen Warner and Josie Christopher each contributed four kills, and Warner also led the team with eight digs.

Angie Moravec had two stuff blocks, Harlie Schaeffer had eight assists, and Harlie Schaeffer, Veronica Solis and Morgan Cardwell each had two aces.

For T-O, Katie Renstrom recorded six aces, Kaela Dewan had 20 assists, Cassy Mendoza had 12 kills and Kaela Dewan had six digs.

" We are learning a lot," Touchet coach April Miller said. "Our transitions are coming along and our timing is finally starting to get there on the block. We got some great digs up, but we still need to get our offense connected.

"Tekoa is the best team I've seen play so far," she said. "They played very organized and were very skilled."

Touchet is now 0-7, and travels to Rosalia Tuesday.
